This article describes how to create a software backup file that includes either a complete system backup (full backup) or a partial system backup (partial backup). The partial backup specifically includes all settings, the DLP table and compensation mask calibrations, and printing statistics.

Create Backup

1. Navigate to Settings > Printer Settings > Software Backups.

2. Select Create new backup.

3. Select the Name field and enter the name of your backup using the touchscreen keyboard and then select OK to confirm.

Note: The backup file name can only include letters, numbers, and hyphens.

4. If you need a partial backup, rather than the full one, select the Partial checkbox.

5. Select Create to create a backup file.

→ The backup file is created and added to the Software Backups list.

Recover Backup

1. Navigate to Settings > Printer Settings > Software Backups.

2. Select the required backup file from the list.

3. Select Recover.

→ The following message appears.

4. Select Recover to confirm the backup recovery.

→ The process of backup recovery starts.

5. To apply changes, the printer needs to be rebooted. It will reboot automatically in 30 seconds. To reboot the printer manually, select Reboot.

Delete Backup

1. Navigate to Settings > Printer Settings > Software Backups.

2. Select the required backup file from the list.

3. Select Delete.

→ The following message appears.

4. Select Delete to confirm.

→ The backup file is deleted and removed from the Software Backups list.
