The vacuum release film is a thin film that is placed on top of the material tray base under the removable PSA. One side of the film is glossy and smooth, and another side is matte and textured. The matte/textured side is delicate and should only be handled with clean gloved hands.
Important: Do not touch the vacuum release film with bare hands or dirty gloves. Always handle the vacuum release film with clean gloved hands. Touching the film with bare hands can destroy the textured surface and lead to print issues.
- Carefully place the vacuum release film on top of the material tray base with the matte/textured side on top.
Important: Place the vacuum film with the matte/textured side on top, facing up.
- Secure the film with six (6) pieces of scotch tape.
Important: Do not cover the channels in the material tray base with scotch tape. Blocking the channels with tape could result in failed prints.
- Carefully place the PSA on top of the film, trying not to move it.
- Install the material tray. See Install Material Tray in Einstein Pro XL.
