The PCA 2000 has a microprocessor-controlled touchscreen interface and intuitive software that allows you to control every aspect of the post-curing process of your 3D printed models. Once the PCA 2000 is powered on, it automatically switches to the Set Program menu. The three curing options are accessible from this screen – Clear, Basic, and Custom. While in the Set Program menu, the curing oven is powered on and ready to start the program selected by the user, but the LED lights are not ignited. |
All three programs use the controlled emission of several very powerful 405 nm and 385 nm UV LEDs and the accelerating effect of heat due to the thermoregulation system. The placement of the UV emitters allows for 360° curing of the models without rotating the curing platform.
Clear program
The Clear program is designed for curing models produced with transparent and delicate materials. The UV emission is reduced to 10% and the exposure time is 20 minutes with a temperature of 20° C (68° F). To run the Clear program, select the CLEAR icon from the Set Program menu. The program will begin immediately.
Basic program
The basic program is designed for curing large models that take up most of the curing space. The UV emission is 80% power and the exposure time is 40 minutes. The temperature curve will reach 40° C (104° F) during the program. To run the Basic program, select the BASIC icon from the Set Program menu. The program will begin immediately.
Custom program
The PCA 2000 can store seven personalized programs (0 – 6). Select the CUSTOM icon from the Set Program menu to access the Custom menu. The Custom program allows the user to adjust the following:
- The UV power from 1% up to 100%.
- The exposure time from 1 second to 100 hours
- The temperature from 20° C to 60° C (68° F to 140° F)
