After you have added your model to the platform, you can change its size in two ways:
- Change its dimensions along the X, Y, or Z-axis.
- Change its scale coefficient.
Resize Model
Resing a model allows you to change its size for one of the axes only or along all the axes at once by inserting a certain dimension value.
1. Press the → A dialog box shown on the right opens. 2. Type the required dimensions. You can use the + and – buttons or the scroll button on your mouse to set the dimensions. → The model dimensions are changed. |

The default measurement unit is mm. To change the measurement unit:
1. Press the icon.
2. Go to Preferences > Measurement Units and set Inches or Millimeters.
3. Press Apply.
Rescale Model
Rescaling allows you to enlarge or reduce the model size along all the axes proportionally by changing the scale coefficient. By default, the model scale coefficient is set to 1.0.
1. Press the → A dialog box shown on the right opens. 2. Type the required scale coefficient into the corresponding field. Use the + and – buttons or the scroll wheel on your mouse to set the required scale coefficient.
→ The scale factor is changed and the system shows the model size in mm or inches after scaling. |
