Label Model Automatically

Important: If your model has supports, they will be deleted during labeling. Regenerate supports for the model, see Auto-Generate Supports and Add Supports Manually.

Note: In Live Build DLP version 2.3.319 and higher, the label will be automatically generated using the first 5 characters of the model(s) name(s). If the models have predefined labels with the $...$ text, the software will extract the label text from the $...$ signs, as it did before.

1. Load and select a model(s) in Live Build DLP.

2. Click the icon on the left Toolbar, select AUTO, and Find and place.

→ The system searches for the available areas on the model and places the label.

To change a label:

3. Enter the required label text in the Text field.

4. Indicate the desired font size of the label text value in the Font size field, using either manual input or the mouse scroller.

5. Select Engrave or Emboss to apply the label on the model correspondingly.

6. Use the Prev and Next buttons to switch between the areas on the model in case the system has found more than one suitable area for the label placement.

7. Press Apply.

8. Press Confirm.

→ The system replaces the label on the model(s).
